A. EDUARDO BALAREZO
En 24 años de ejercer el derecho penal, el Sr. Balarezo ha desarrollado un profundo conocimiento del sistema de justicia penal estadounidense y de su funcionamiento. Él reconoce que, aunque ese sistema puede considerarse el mejor del mundo, no es perfecto.
La Constitución garantiza a los acusados penales muchos derechos; sin embargo, el sistema está diseñado para producir condenas penales. A menos que los acusados tengan un abogado con muchas experiencia en temas penales, se convertirán en otra estadística. La amplia experiencia del Sr. Balarezo en la defensa de personas acusadas de graves ofensas estatales y federales le permite navegar por el sistema y sus dificultades y obtener resultados favorables para muchos clientes, ya sea a través de negociaciones o a través de juicio.
Una cita atribuida al juez Oliver Wendell Holmes lo resume para el Sr. Balarezo: "Esto es un tribunal de ley, no es un tribunal de justicia".
El Sr. Balarezo nació en Guayaquil, Ecuador y habla español con fluidez.
